Default carb adjustment 427-435

Had my matching # motor rebuilt. Carbs were good on the other motor. Was able to adjust them. New motor is in running decent. I can't get any adjustment . They were rebuilt last year. It's a 427-435HP. Any suggestions or advise how to get an adjustment from the center carb??

are you adjusting the center carb with the linkage removed that goes to the outer carbs? that is where I would start. also double check the timing and get the engine warm to normal operating temps as well

I pulled the manifold off the other engine with the carbs on it. I replaced it wit the cabs installed. Nothing was touched. Timing is right on.

First thing I would check is to make sure the manifold is tight and properly sealed, with no air leaks.

check the float levels, moving the carburetor/intake around may have stirred up dirt or something else interfering with the needle/seat assembly.

It's running good now. Checked for vacuum leaks None. Checked float levels Good. Bumped timing up a couple of degrees helped. Took out idle adjustments sprayed carb cleaner in them blew out with air. Was able to readjust them. Runs good now...
