What HP would you suspect?
Curious question only as I daily drive this car and not really into racing. But last year I was at a car show and someone asked what kind of power my car was making. I stayed conservative as I'm not much for embellishment. Interested to know what you all think.
2004 coupe automatic with 2.73 gears
Blackwing intake with smooth coupler
XS Power catted LT's and xpipe
GHL axle back
LS6 intake not ported
Had it street tuned, but no dyno
Everything else is stock.
So what do you think at the motor knowing stock it was rated at 350?

estimates are all over, I’ve heard anywhere from 10 to 25%.
My guess would be closer to 15% with auto.
Ps if you swap out rear for a 342 and mild stall it will feel like you supercharged it. I know this first hand, it was my first mod.

So 380 crank (you stated the stock crank HP, so I stayed with that) would be around 330 real wheel with an auto (or 340 with a stick).

And trust me a set of 3.42's is at the top of my wish list. I however do not trust myself to install it, and it ain't cheap to have someone else install.

Thanks. The average guess for wheel so far in this thread is roughly 343. Add in only 10% and we're at 377 motor. So close to what I thought.

I've done everything else on this car and always do regular maintenance items on family vehicles, including water pumps, full brake jobs, replaced control arms, and wheel hubs. But for some reason the rear diff intimidates the heck out of me. If I had a lift and another person who is more qualified in this area, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Probably still will at some point, I just need to get over the fear of failing.

I had a 2000 coupe A4, w/ vararam air intake, LS6 intake, XS power headers/x pipe, Borla stingers and 3.42s which netted me exactly 343 rwhp. The 3.42s really woke up the car!

The car came with the LS6 intake so no gain there. The other mods - maybe a combined 35 bhp. Figure a 15-18% drivetrain loss would put you at 316 - 327 rwhp.
