Best Method To Get Z06 Power Into GS?
So I like my 2017 GS and have it optioned just like I want but.....considering mods to boost HP to Z06 levels. I really don't want to sell / trade it so looking for recommendations on mods. Yes, I know the warranty repercussions. Callaway a possibility but maybe too many $$$. Any suggestions on the mods?

I think the GS puts down around 415 stock. Procharger will set you back about $5,500 and gain you about 150 on 7psi. Headers, another 2K along with an xpipe for $400, probably 30-40hp gain. Intake for $400, gain about 20hp. A tune will get you some more with the headers and intake. You'd be over 600 to the wheels after about $9K. You could probably sell yours and find a Z06 for similar cost. Now if you plan on owning it for the next 10 years and doing a little a time, that's another story. Right now I don't need the Z06 power, but eventually I'll start wanting more power and doing all those things I mentioned before.

Z06... optioned the way you like it, or post #6 with no warranty.

If I had a GS and my goal was stock Z06 power levels then; Heads/Cam (get rid of the Eco hardware) full bolt on package w/tune would be the way to go in my opinion.
Cool sound, good power, less heat than FI... lighter..

What is the purpose of modifying the car? First question you have to answer for yourself is are you personally capable of holding the throttle wide open for 60 seconds with the stock engine? 60 seconds gets you into some serious triple digit speeds. Will you be able to hold it wide open for that long if you modify the engine? The reason I ask these questions is it is a waste of your $10K if you can't hold the throttle open long enough to make use of any added power. Short 2 to 5 second bursts around town don't change much with more power. More power comes at the higher end of the rpm curve and it requires staying in the throttle long enough to make use of it.
What are you going to do with the car after it is modded? Drags, road course, half mile, mile? On the street it is only good for bragging rights and you can brag just as well with stickers on the car and removing one spark plug wire to give the engine a cam lope. In the old days guys used to put the big 6-71 superchargers on their engines without any guts in them. They stuck out of the hood, looked impressive but didn't do anything and nobody knew the difference.

I was assuming he was tracking his car.
Stock Z06 power with less heat and weight sounds pretty good to me.

I'd say with headers + exhaust, the install of that, probably 2-3K
And then the purchase, install and tuning of a SC, you might be at your budget limit.
Or you can have an engine shop do the motor over in lieu of the SC at this time. Either way, youll need the headers done, so you can go ahead and do that and see what you have left or where you want to go with it then.

Spend 200 dollars for the corvettes of westchester cow booster...
Makes the car super responsive to throttle input ....and fwiw....that immediate throttle responsiveness is what your after...
Unless you are actually racing.,then if it were me I'd do a edlebrock supercharger

I'd look at some of the forum sponsors who have some nice packages. Personally, I'd go the ProCharger route. Look at A & A or Vengeance. Vengeance has a complete setup (supercharger, headers, x-pipe, tune, + installation) for less than 10K that was rated at 690hp.

Another thing to consider is if and when you will be selling it. It could make it more difficult to sell and decrease value. If that is not a concern, like the warranty, no biggie. Just remember seeing someone not long ago that was concerned about the resale value on their modded car. Not everyone has the same ideas on mods so once you change the car you are potentially narrowing your potential buyers down.
