New Rear Spindle Press - SPECTACULAR DEAL!
I purchased one of these from this ebay seller and could NOT be happier! It's less than half the price the vendors charge, it's the SAME tool, and you DO NOT need to remove the camber strut rod to use it so it makes easy work of removing the rear spindle!
EBAY LINK --> Corvette Spindle Press
Picture from the listing:
Just thought I'd pass this along for anyone who, like myself, like to have the tools on hand needed to support and service their vehicle. Don't hammer the spindle out, press it out like GM recommends!
One last note: The one I received actually looks much nicer than the one pictured...and it was shipped FAST to boot!
Regards,
Dave

I actually used this tool yesterday to remove the LH spindle, and it made the job so easy I thought something was wrong...jobs on these cars should NEVER be this easy!

20mercury -- In case you were wondering what this tool will actually look like installed, here's a birdseye view for you. it's really nice that you DO NOT have to remove the camber strut to use...installation time of the tool itself is under 2 minutes (with adjusting) once you're ready to press.
Good luck on your project...you'll be glad you nabbed one, he's moving them like crazy off of the sudden.

Poking around ebay today I just noticed that in addition to the spindle press tool I posted in the first thread being sold for $95.00 delivered, this same seller also has the trailing arm bearing install tool for $29.00 delivered:
...As well as the rear spindle installation tool for $35.00 delivered.
Hope this help out anyone wanting to add these tools to their collection for an affordable price. You just can't beat these prices anywhere if you need these tools and want them new!

Keep your eye on that seller for the bushing install tool, he may just be in the process of restocking. You can't go wrong at those prices.
If you've never handled one of those presses before, you're going to be surprised at how heavy it is...I was anyhow.

Bought the press and bearing tool too, missed the trailing arm bushing also.
Glad this helped you out!
