Cam question
What would be good cam to run in my 2011 Grand Sport Auto? I don't want anything to wild mostly because it's a automatic. My Goal is 425 at the wheels with Headers and a Haltech CAI as well. And someone was saying that I might have active fuel management on it is this true? Which would require a lifter swap as well and R&R the heads.

Stick with something like BTR Stage 1 or Texas Speed Stage 1 cam and you should have no trouble reaching your HP goal while retaining good driveability. C6 LS3s do not have AFM so no need to worry about that.

No active fuel management you really don't need a cam to go 425 to the wheels but if you want a small cam just don't go too small cause you may end up wanting more and doing it over again 228 to 232 duration on the intake is where you want to be.
Consider the one in the link below lots of low end torque and power every where will also sound great.

It also be a great time to upgrade your harmonic damper.

I agree with both of the responses above. Also may want to check this on out also. http://www.tickperformance.com/tick-...3-l99-engines/
Don't forget if you go with to much cam you will need to install a stall converter.

Nope it has lower lift on the exhaust for this purpose though is good to always check checking is easy if you plan to do it yourself just get two soft valve springs sold for this purpose and when you swap spring go with the soft for a quick check put the cylinder of your choice at top dead center on the compression stroke and push the valve down with your finger .120 thous clearance is great.

Get in touch with Pat G https://www.guerragroup.com/camshaft-help and he can get you a cam that will do what you want it to do. Can help with the rest of the valve train too. Some of the info in this thread just isn't quite correct....

Pat G is a great option. So are the BTR options.
The answer to push rods is always measure. No excuse not too.
