I know there are alot of homemade bleeders in garages. Just sharing mine that I just finished.

except for the quick disconnect fitting it looks almost exactly like mine. i used a two gallon sprayer as i usually run a gallon of fluid through the system.
I tried that, it worked good the first time, then a few months later I went to use it and the sprayer pump seals had swollen so much I couldn't use the pump. Hopefully your pump seals are more compatible with the brake fluid.

Am planning on cleaning it with denatured alcohol after use. Hopefully that will take care of that.
He didn't buy the Motive Tank. Made his own cheaper version, then adapted the MC cover plate. I always thought it would be nice to have a shutoff valve in the hose in case something goes wrong. As you are bleeding the very last caliper for the very last time,
its common to shutoff the brakefluid / tank pressure so the MC is not overfilled. And without spraying brakefluid all over the fenders, garage floor, headers, the dog . . . . .

Problem with the Motive set up is the cheap, Chinese chains they come with to hold the lid on the MC. They leak like crazy, tighten them more and the chain just bends open. Absolute crap. I found the best way to seal them is using two large C clamps.

I wish I knew how to post pictures. I made a M-Cyl cover for the Motive tank out of 1/2" thick lexan plexiglass. Its maybe 5" X 7". Drilled one offset hole for a brass fitting and the clear hose, sm clamp, caulked it good w/RTV. Then glued a cork gasket the same shape as the MC lid under the plexiglass. I put a huge clamp on it that goes under the MC.
I can see the brakefluid going in the MC. I can see the fluid leaving the MC. I can see everything. I do one side of the MC at a time. After I do the rear brakes I turn the lexan glass 180* and do the front brakes.
But I have no shutoff valve . . . . yet.
I just used the Motive system over the weekend. I knew about the C-clamp vs. chain (thank's Corvette Forum!). The quick connect air hose fittings is brilliant. I'll be sure to add that, and get a second C-clamp.
The DIY lexan cover is also brilliant. I wish I'd seen all of this a week ago.
Go to a Glass Place and ask for 1/2" Lexan. Maybe 5" X 7", bigger than the master cyl cover. Drill one 1/2" hole, off-set in the glass. Not dead center. You will only be pressurizing one side of the master at a time, either the front system or back.
Purchase brass fitting (NAPA) with a hose barb on the top, threaded nut under the lexan. RTV the crap out of it around the top-side of the hole only. Let set overnite.
Then make yourself a gasket for the lid out of FelPro cork sheet and seal cork to the lexan lid with more RTV. (I used Permatex gray) Let that set overnite.
Using a large "C" or woodworking clamp, mount the lexan lid to the MC. There. Now hook up your clear Motive Bleeder pump tank hose to the brass barb with hose clamp. Inject brakefluid into the master. Pump away. You can see everything going on in the MC. Is the brakefluid low? High? Bubbles? Is it flushing out? Open a bleeder. This set-up should do all four brakes eaisly.
Is there an advantage to using a pressure bleeder vs a Mity Vac vacuum pump?
In theory, the Motive system will allow you to walk around the car and crack open a bleeder, then move on to the next corner. Lets say you fill your Motive pressure tank with 32-48 oz of brakefluid then pump it up to about 10-15 lb pressure. That should be enough to do all 6 bleeders.
Where as the vac method is more labor involved. You must constantly refill the MC. If it runs dry, well, never mind. You're screwed.
Both methods work pretty well and are much quicker than the, favored by some, gravity method.
The only problem with the pressure method is getting a good seal from the plate that sits on the master cylinder. You have likely seen some adaptors plates for that purpose. With pressure behind the plate, things can and do go wrong. If you are lucky the plate just drips brakefluid on your floor. Worse, is spraying your fenders with paint- removing-brakefluid.

Although I made mine out of 1/2" aluminum, you can put a fitting for each side of MC in your plate and tee them together; no need to remove plate then for bleeding rear/front.
