Default C3 Camaro zl1 rear suspension swap

I’m looking at a 2014 camaro rear suspension , with the thought it would be a good option to swap to a c3,
The 9.9 diff is strong and would make a good set up
Has anyone tried this.

Anything is possible with a welder and sawsall. It is not even close to a bolt in so just about everything would need to be fabricated.

They sell 9" ford IRS kits now.

I went to a Fab 9" four link suspension , and it drives and handles perfectly.

No matter which way you go your going to be around 5k for these 2 options

I’m building a chassis I think the Camaro rear suspension would allow me to keep the rear wheel wells in tack as is .
I would like to know the height of the Camaro cradle compared to the centre line of the wheels at Normal ride height,
The same suspension is used here in Australia in the VF Commodore I’ll have to find one to measure

I looked at the camaro irs also, between the exorbitant costs they want here and fact looked like you'd have to almost back half the car took it out of contention for me anyways.

Default Rear mount

Mount pin through chassis , a crush tube is fitted inside chassis .
Pin is Made from 4140 3/4 UNF nut is torqued to 320 lb/ft. Bottom of mount is tapped to 9/16 UNF to retain cradle.
New frame parts need to be fully welded when I get all,the mounting system fitted.
