Default ATCO RENTAL- April 13th 2018

I will be hosting a private rental at Atco on April 13th. It will be open to cars with street tires, DRs, and slicks. Both lanes will be prepped and maintained equally. Cars with street tires on their drive wheels must run only in the left lane while DRs and slicks on all drive wheels can run either lane. The cost is $200 per car with a minimum 10 cars. In order to guarantee this, I must collect a $200 non refundable payment. Should it be cancelled by Atco, all monies will be returned. If interested, please PM me for my PayPal info.
I must have your payment no later than 4/7/18.
TIA

thanks, I'll keep this in mind. My brother and I have never actually taken our cars to the track. Is this a good day for beginners at the track?

Actually, it is perhaps the best way to learn. Most guys/gals run one at a time unless they prearrange a matchup. Track prep is superior to regular days. You can make as many or as few passes as you wish. Many of the racers are very knowledgeable and like to help out others. If you need help, I would be happy to go over the general rules, racer courtesy, staging procedure, assist you with your first couple passes and give you feedback.

This sounds like a great event, I'm very interested and live nearby. This would let me run much more than at one of their open events correct?

I have not yet been to Atco's open event, but I can attest that one of our guys made 32 passes at our rental. It is not unusual to make (12) passes or so.

I'm still in mourning about the end of drags at Englishtown - it will be interesting to see the future of the sport in NJ....

Lots of views and not many commitments. Hate to be another one, but New Jersey is just a tad too far from Orlando. For now anyway...

You can count me in. I'm assuming I need to buy a helmet? I'm obviously a beginner.

Is there a website or somewhere we can see how many in already?

It would be a good idea to buy your own helmet that is approved; however, the track does rent them but you should call them for availability if you go that route.
I will send you my PayPal info if you wish to attend.
