Anyone seen my Aunts Corvette?
My aunt used to own this 1977 Corvette back in the 80's, I think! It had a new motor that was supposed to be similar to a 327/375HP from what she told me. It had an Offenhauser intake with 2 Carter carbs, automatic tranny with a manual valve body (you HAD to shift it) and a 3500 rpm stall torque converter. Had a two tone paint job with lettering down the middle of the hood saying "The Most Exciting Seat in the World" and "The Angel & The Badman" on the nose of the car. She was located in Dayton, Ohio at the time and later sold it off when she moved to Texas.
Just curious if anyone ever ran into it and if anyone knows of it's fate.
Thanks,

Oh, I figured it's a longshot but hoped someone might have remembered the different paint scheme and the hand lettering across the hood. Not your everyday "Aunties" car. Just a way to post one of the only two photos I know of it. This one was taken by me in the front yard of my old house when I was trying to sell it for her.

Odds are anyone that got the car repainted the hood.
She did love that car though.

I think she lost the pink slip to that car to the "Little Ol' Lady from Pasadena" in a drag race.....

Yes indeed, that’s her! She just turned 90 a couple months ago! Were you a neighbor? It was unique.....especially the script a cross the hood! I figured that surely someone would remember it if they saw it!

I worked at Centerville Automotive back then as a youngster , now own my own shop maybe 6 miles east of Centerville , I've worked on both of those Vettes , her friend was a real character ( BS'er )and if I remember right he burned through a good chunk of her money away , your aunt was a very nice person , those cars were really cool and I think they had a little more compression than the gas of 1981 liked

Eric:
A good friend of mine owned Centerville Radiator in the same area as Centerville Automotive. He finally sold it in the 90's and it eventually became Dare Automotive. He said that Centerville Automotive had a lot of bays and mechanics.

You’re really testing the memory bank, Dennis and can’t remember his brothers name at the moment for C’ville Radiator
