You don’t need the “drop” spindles. You need the 15” wheel specific “drag” spindles from either LG or Carlyle Racing. LG has dropped their spindles from ~$1795 to $899 to price match the competition. I’m not sure what Carlyle spindles are made from, but LGs are a special aluminum alloy. If I was buying only the spindles, I would probably go for the LGs. You will also need to grind some material off the bottom of the rear lower control arms to clear the barrel of the 15” wheel. I’m not sure if the 15” Weld wheels can fit over your stock brakes, but I think it may be possible with some grinding on the calipers. If not, then you’ll need new rotors and calipers as well. Carlyle offers a complete 15” drag spindle and brake package for a great price, as well as providing the instructions on where and how to clearance the lower control arms.

Save yourself the time, money and hassle and just go with a 17x9.5 C5 Z06 or 17x11 wheel with 315/35/17 Hoosier drag radials.

On a regular and consistent basis I have better 60ft times than big tire cars with full slicks.

This was from a couple weeks ago.

Man, subfloor, a 9.93 ET with a N/A setup is hauling ***! You’ve got that thing dialed in nicely!
You still running the Yank 4000 and the Z06 rear?

Yeah, the setup is pretty much a clone of the red car.

Most people can get by with a 17 inch wheel setup. They have a good track, want to use a drag radial, etc.

A 15 inch wheel gives you more options, cheaper tires, and more sidewall. If you race on the street, not award winning prepped tracks a 15inch slick will almost always out perform a 17inch radial.
Carlyle has a great kit that has everything needed. If you have a base you can just get the spindles, and rotor, grind your caliper down, and your control arm.

Good luck!

Well these shown above are 17" I don't think I need to go 15" after I saw subfloor times I probably have a smaller charger then that but I lose traction on the street

Excellent choice.

- 18.5psi measured right before each pass
- smokey burnout, approximately 5-6 seconds, leave the car in Drive and don't worry about trying to hold it in one specific gear

Thank you Subfloor I wouldn't of even looked at them if it wasn't for you I know it worked on my transam but since these calipers were larger I thought it wouldn't of cleared. I appreciate your help and knowledge thanks for replying. I was ready to blow 3k dollar on a weld setup which I thought was insane this saved me a bunch of headaches and trouble they also look nice

Hey guys, sorry to revive an old thread. I'm looking at a drag pack setup and wanted to know if anyone here can weigh in if this wheel would fit the rear of a base C6? Looking to wrap these with Hoosier DR2s 315s. I'm getting mixed feedback and the sellers themselves won't guarantee fitment because their data suggests it's only for C4s for some reason. Bore size, pattern and offset all check out. I don't care about the wheels sticking out of the narrow fenders because they will be used just on the track:

I have, based on their "fitment guide" everything they have is 18" up for the C6. I wanted to go with something like this so I'm trying to get any feedback from people who might have tried it.
