Latch braket for the later push button removable rear window tray?
I purchased the whole kit to convert my 1976 over to a removable rear window EXCEPT I did not receive the bracket for the push button type removable rear window tray? It is the part that is attached to the body that the latch on the tray connects to. Does anyone have one that they'd sell at a reasonable cost? Or does any vender sell a replacement part? Thanks for any info.

I may have one on my 72, glad to check when I get my car back home. I have made the racer window removable but I still have the storage tray in their and I may not be using it. But glad to check when I get home and get my car back.
I know that does not help you immediately but I will look into it, I promise.

Thanks, I appreciate it. That's the only piece missing for my conversion. Have a great weekend,

I definately have two of them for my 72. My new window tray came with a few brackets I already have.
You can have one of them.
Let me find it.

How's this one? $5 plus USPS?
Light surface rust, never cleaned. It's the one from my 72. Straightened it out tile until it matched the other one. New stainless screws.
FYI The one that came with my tray "kit" is media blasted and spray clear coated.
I also have an extra set of the rear bulkhead mounting brackets if anyone needs those.
FYI there is a metal reinforcement back-up bracket pop-riveted into the body for the screws to go into. You'll have to make something up for a 76.
I can get a pic if you need one.

Great......can I Pay Pal or do you need a Money order. Shipped to 45432. A picture of the metal back up bracket with some type scale for reference would be great. Let me know. I really appreciate this.

Found an excellent picture of a 69 showing the two visible rivets in the storage compartment, and the now obvious access route thru the astro ventilation. The backup plate is hidden inside.

3-1/16 " from rivet to rivet. You can even see where one mounting screw snapped.
2" from front moulding

Thank you for the item and the photos with a scale for reference. I sent a little more via Pay Pal since it looked like they were going to charge you the 3% fee. That should cover any fees. Pay Pal isn't user friendly sometime...at least for me...LOL! I put my email address in the Pay Pal comments. Once again, THANKS FOR MAKING THIS AVAILABLE!
