A C6 ZR1 splitter will increase coolant temps due to blocking of airflow to the center deflector. This style splitter is designed for a front breather, whereas the C5 is a bottom breather.

We do relocate the opening to center so ours won’t have iverheat issue. Many forum members had confirmed it before.

There are many pictures on our web. Go check it out.

The original ZR1 splitter had two small openings, near the ends. That causes problems with cooling on a C5. Having a center opening is correct, as seen in the ACI and Vortex splitters, and also the Apsis. Moving the openings to the center makes for a different design and function. It’s no longer a ZR1 splitter.
