Did you try unplugging the battery and plugging it back in? Could maybe just use a reset.

Default HUD frozen

thanks for replying. Yes, in fact I took off the positive and negative thermals, held them together for two minutes and reconnect. I did not help.

I would retry disconnecting battery cables and let it sit for while. Also would reset all codes on DIC. Did you try pressing the page button and release. This scrolls through the various HUD display options.

thanks again. I did retry disconnecting the battery again this AM. Left it off for 5 hours. Still no change. Also tried the page and DIC reset. The page button gets no reaction what so ever. On the DIC , not sure what you mean by reset all codes. But I did go through everything the DIC would display. Thanks Dave

If you check your code(s) when the motor is stopped you will probably get several types of code(s). Make a note of all the codes.. Code H is for history. It means most likely old code(s) that were taken care of. Delete then all the codes.
Start the motor and again check the codes. The history codes should have been deleted and only the current codes should be displayed.
