Immediately after H/C/I install. P0455
Took my car to fix heads. Got it back. I don' drive it much but the next day I decided to drive it and now engine light. Bought a reader. P0455. I reset it. And keeps coming back. I bought a stant gas cap. Still trips p0455. Not sure if something in the engine bay is not connected or loose or bad. But anything I can replace that you guys think it might be. Has to be something in engine bay cause they were all up in it. Only one code p0455 large evap leak. I'e read there is something in back of car. And something in front. Wondering if I should just replace engine bay one but no idea what it looks like and where it is.

If a replacement gas cap didn't cure the code, then here are the next steps:
Vent solenoid (under the car, passenger side near transmission)
Purge solenoid (in the engine on the passenger side head)
The filler neck is somehow damaged
Leak or blockage in lines
I would start by inspecting the purge solenoid in the engine.

Anytime. Happy to help. Hope it cures the problem. And be sure that the gas cap has been replaced, is on correctly and appears sealed. That is the problem 50% or more of the time with this code. But the other parts can also cause leaks if they have failed or are failing. I hate chasing leaks (oil, fuel, air etc) and electrical issues. It is unfortunately often times trial and error. Good news is the parts are relatively cheap and easy to swap.
Also, if you end up doing your brakes also and need any help I am happy to put together a short write-up of how I do them.

I know the gas cap is replaced because I went to oreilly and bought it myself. Stant. I just took it up today and put it back on trying all the ways. When it grabs threads. Pull out and tighten. 3 clicks.

Brake write up will be great whenever you have time. No rush as I won' get to it until maybe Monday or Tuesday of next week.
should I get a updated harness for this evap job?

it’s an updated harness for the evap solenoid. It’s right next to the passenger muffler pipe. Mine failed and threw the same code. Replaced it with the harness and it fixed the problem.

Well, its only needed if it's needed. Meaning if the harness is damaged. As far as I know, the latest iteration of the solenoid itself is compatible with the existing harness. There was an iteration of the solenoid at one point that needed a new harness. I think there have been three iterations of the stupid solenoid.
GM unfortunately enjoys changing part numbers for a variety of parts multiple times over the lifetime of a vehicle. Meaning they continually change parts and compatibility for a variety of reasons (parts bin runs out, supplier issues, new design etc).
This was the harness that at one point was needed:
