Default My ACS Composite Z51 Wide Body Rear Build

Today I received the new wide body kit that ACS Composite offers. I dropped the parts off at Breitling Autoworks in Jacksonville, FL and I am super excited about seeing this get started. This version now comes with the Z06/Grand Sport GM factory rear bumper cover that makes for a more complete look. All parts are GM except the lower brake scoop panel. I hope to be able to capture some pictures of the progress.

I'll have to say I really love the way she turned out. The ACS Composite was a great option. I've heard it said before that "...If you don't turn around and look as you walk away, you're driving the wrong car." No problem there!

This is is the kit I like the way it looks just the scoop I would have the body shop blend it in to make it flush and complete the look but looks great besides that

You have the option of doing a functional or non-functional brake scoop. I chose functional since I track my car.

Got a couple pics from my body shop today. Glad I decided to have a pro do this. There has been some fitment issues with the body panels that I hope they have been able to adjust out. I'm mechanically inclined and thought about doing this myself, but it will be nice to just show up for the "reveal" and get excited.

Nice! What's the cost of the kit and then the cost of the paint & install?

I paid $4625 for the kit with functional brake scoops, stage II spoiler and Z06 upper trans/diff. scoops.

The paint/body estimate is at $5200, though that will probably go up for the time it takes to cut the openings for the brake cooling ducts.

Thanks. I have a set of XO Verona Silver Brushed Face ready to go with Mich. Pilot Sport Cup 2's:

265/30ZR19 on a 19x9" wheel
335/25ZR20 on a 20x12"

After I blow through this set I plan to try Continentals so I'll have a comparison. It's too bad Michelin is so inconsistent with the sizes of run flats they produce.

Can't wait to see the finished product as I've been on the fence about this kit for some time now.

It would appear that some of the parts that you initially pictured are not pictured on their website.

Any clarity would be great.
