Default Shear tunnel

So I hit a small speed bump in my subdivision and bent the shear tunnel up a bit and now it rubs my exhaust a bit and it's annoying me. I've tried searching for one at several places but can't find one. Any idea where I can get one. Thanks!!

Are you talking about the tunnel plate pictured below? I removed mine when installing a Corsa exhaust system. If so, you might be able the just straighten it out.

Yes that's the one. The front leading edge is slightly bent up so it hits the exhaust every once and a while. I can probably live with it but if it's cheap enough I'll replace it.

I saw a used one on EBay for $50. Try Cultrag or Trunk Monkey...

Might be worth your time and $$ to pull it off and see if you can straighten it out just enough so it is not touching. Worth a try.

Couldn’t you just get a mechanic (or you could do it yourself) with some small hand tools to remove the plate and flatten it out with a heavy hammer? Why throw money away?

I'm kind to absolutely try that first and see if I can bend it back. Just lookin in case I can't get it straightened out enough to stop hitting. And I was curious to see how much they were just in case.

Most any garage, or sheet metal shop, or machine shop can easily correct that panel. Save that money you would have spent on a new plate for some cool mods.

You could possibly use some washers to shim it where it does not make noise if you cant fully bend it back in place once it's off.
