He missed 4th gear on that pass. That's why the low mph. It was a shitty day all around. We brought drag radials to bolt on his car but wanted to make a pass none stock first. Track was PACKED. He had a 2.4 60 first pass Bc he thought it would spin and it didn't. We then got directly back in line to run again and didn't run for well over an hour. He was supposed to be home at 1 but we were stuck in the lanes. So he left right after that pass around 1230. We will be back next weekend. Mikes actually a pretty decent drive but it's a brand new car. They are his first 2 passes EVER in the car. Also first passes for the year at the track and he hasn't owned a stick Car in over a year... so give him some slack. Not everyone will be pro first pass down the track.

Looks like even with pretty poor 2.4 and 1.9 second 60 foots he still cracked off an 11.4 and 11.5 both at 130 MPH. Shows good speed. With a driver mod for the launch it will definitely be a 10 second car. But I’d expect most owners with M7 cars to land in the 11.2-11.5 range for most passes as Mikes were average or slightly above average for stick passes. If you possess the skill to slip the clutch properly and get it to scream out of the hole, the C7 ZR1 in manual form is in the 10s. Autos should be 10s with ease, pass after pass.

Just watched it. Was hoping for 10’s but with only 2 passes on a new car, I guess that’s good. Hoping to see him back soon!

Very interesting. 123 is very slow. Auto 3950 pound ZL1s trap 128-130 bone stock. I wonder if the slip and the lights disagreed.

something is off. A stock C7z manual traps 125mph in average.

And the ZR1 in video was way into the 4th gear so definitely way more than 123 mph trap.

Boy, the break in naz*'s and SS717 haters are gonna have a heart attack over this.

I liked the comment that his next video title could be... "highest mileage ZR1 in the world"

God damn he sucks at stick lmaooo even in my Z07 with a stock tire I ran a 10.9 Jesus driver mod needed or seriously just a bad day. Only thing promising is the trap speed at 130 but after this literally just put a hold on my ZR1 purchase until I see someone capable or an auto car do way better. 😂 which means his Mclaren camparison is irreverent.

Looked more relaxed and focused in his first run, and I thought his shifting was pretty good in pass one.
I bet the white C6 ZR1 threw off his focus for his second pass...and shifting.
It’ll take lots of practice to finesse 750 hp with a stick...that’s the fun part.
He has a baseline to track his own improvement.

Well done!

I thought he lifted early as well. Which would make sense as the 1.9 60' and 2.3 should have been further apart than .1

the 130 Trap comes from his bogging down at the line. If he spun a bit he would've trapped 132 or better imo.

Better be skilled trying to slip it. 99% of the manual drivers out there aren't we all know that. Takes practice and replacements lol. So average M7 driver will be right in line. No hero runs. Low 11s over 130. Jist like most M7 Z06 owners are mid to high 11s under 130 lol.
