Thinking about adding the fender hash stripes.
How many here have added the fender hash stripes and have you kept them or taken them off a short while later. Akso if you have them could you post some pics please. I know i can google it and i have but it seems you guys have nicer looking rides than google does.

I added them to my '00 coupe not long after I bought it. Kept the stripes on the car until I sold it - probably 6-7 years total time on the car. Here's a pic:
And here are the measurements on how I set mine up:
If you like the look of the fender stripes, put them on. Doesn't matter what others think. And if they are just vinyl and not paint, you can always remove them later with little problem.
Haven't added them to my current '03 because I have enough stripes on the car now.

I got some vinyl one's on, looks just like Jack's, I need to remove them. Either I didn't clean it well or needed adhesion promoter, the edges on one side didn't stick good and it's a PIA to remove.

I used plasti-dip for mine in 2012. I like them so much that I did the other side too! Had lots of nice compliments and no one ever criticized or said they are gay.

I made a template from construction paper then went to fast signs and had them make them. Once they scan in the computer they can reprint anytime in any color combo. It was about 30 bucks.

Anyone do it with a carbon fiber look? I'm in the process of wrapping a roof, and doing the side mirrors in a carbon fiber. Can't decide if I want to do the fender stripe.

Guess I'm a happy owner then. Not the best picture, but all I have at the moment. I got mine from Vettestripes.com maybe 4 years ago. Liked it so much, I had him send me extra material last year so I could make custom cut pieces to extend the look into the engine bay on my painted RPI fender covers. The angle of the picture makes them look off a bit, but they are nicely matched to the outer fender. Gets lots of compliments on the idea and finished product. He had pics on his website that I sent him, but admittedly, they were taken with a poor cell phone and before I lowered the car and got new wheels.

with the plasti dip paints it would be a non permanent paint stripe.
add a super charger and you have a winning combination

slightly off topic I did wrap the A pillar triangles with it though. As that was black already it gave a nice contrast to body colored mirrors and door.
