69 to 71 Convertible
Looking to replace my 69 that I was forced to sell. This is what I am looking for. A 69 to 71 convertible with a stick shift, Tilt wheel, pw steering, and pw brakes I would prefer a big block but not a necessity side pipes and AC preferred, PICs are a must I am looking at the $25 to $30 range. Color combinations I am open to most just no silver. I am ready to pull the trigger now not looking for a project car, I understand these are 45 plus years old and wont be perfect at this price bracket.

This is not an exact match but might be of interest. I have been the owner of this 71 Brands Hatch Green 350 CI Air Convertible for thirty years. I have owned a few before this that have always "nickel and dimed" me but this is a truly special car. Rock solid. I used it as a daily driver while working in New Mexico for a couple of years before moving to New Hampshire. It has been kept in my heated garage and only driven occasionally, but maintained and inspected annually. It is a numbers matching car that had a body off restoration in the mid 80s when I bought it in Colorado before moving to NM. It doesn't have a piece of broken glass on it! The odometer has about 86K on it and I had the motor freshened around 60K. At that time they added a slightly better CAM that bumped up the performance from the original 300 HP so it probably is more like 330-370 HP, but I have never dyno'd it. It pulls strong in all gears though. I added SS brakes, a mono leaf spring and a 5K custom audio that did not result in cutting the car anywhere to enable it to be returned to its original state if desired. The custom audio included a modern Alpine AM/FM CD player, Hi-Power Amp that resides in the storage compartment behind the seat with a CD changer, replaced speakers inside the doors without cutting and added a small sub that sits on the floor in the back of the car with Velcro - awesome sounding work by Rich's Car Tunes known nationwide for his custom work on show cars that enables you to enjoy good music with the top down. I have the original AM/FM Mono radio somewhere I believe and it could be replaced to return the car to original state.
I purchased the car to drive it and enjoy it and have done so for years. I would have no fear in driving this car cross country. I don't think there are very many air rag tops around. Most of the fiber optics work but the clock does not. Repaired it once and it stopped again - probably a ground issue. It has PS and T&T wheel but manual windows. Also doesn't have the big block or side pipes as you desired. It does sound nice though imho. I can provide additional pictures, answer questions or have a telephone conversation.
Thanks,

Not my car
Thank you for sending me the pics the red one at 32.000 I have actually seen it's a nice car but base model, no power anything, it's a nice car like I said but I am looking for is more than that was plus it's a bit high priced for what it is. The car is on consignment so the seller needs to be a bit more realistic as to what they have and price it accordingly.

I got 1968 roadster, frame off 18 years ago, small block 4 spd car, added PS and PB when restored, has big block hood, and I have matching small block hood painted , I think I spent 50k restoring it, the OE radio ***** cost me like $200 at Carlisle 15 years ago. kids in college. $20k
Thank you for showing me your 68 but unfortunately I am not looking for any 68 vettes, you have a very nice ride I just don't care for the door handle set up on the 68's I wish you the best of luck with your sale.

More Pics of undercarriage
Hi, I have attached some additional pics of the undercarriage. If there are specific areas of the undercarriage I can try to provide those as well. What other types of information would you like?
Thank-you.

where is car located? I noticed that there is no brake booster manual? what condition is the top in, and what kind of records do you have on the car. I see that a frame off was done in the 80's do have records of all this and is there anything you think might need to be done in the near future?
Thanks again..
