Wondering what your guys average fuel economy range is? I always have my 2016 A8 Z07 in sport mode/manual using paddles and my average is 6mpg on the dash. Doesnt seem to change much from this. When I filled my tank today it said the fuel range for tank was 115 miles.. Do I really drive it that hard and is this what you guys are seeing as well?

2017 M7 stock. Daily driver. I goose it once a day or so but mostly stop and go traffic. I get about 14.5 to 15.5 on 93 octane.

2017 A8 non-Z07. Daily driver, never tracked. When on the freeway, I run in Eco mode. In city, Sport mode with manual shifting. After 4300 miles, I am averaging about 22 mpg. Best I did on a 500 mile trip was about 25 mpg.

There is an SPS update to some instrument clusters that identifies an issue with MPG/Fuel efficiency reporting.
It showed as available for my VIN, but I didn't fee like I really needed it.
I'll try to snap a picture of it next time I login to TDS and see the exact verbiage.

IMHO, no, you are not driving it hard enough on the street to get 6 mpg. Not possible, even if you're driving in Mexico.
On track with slicks and race pads I get right around 4 mpg driving at 9/10. VERY aggressive driving in the twisties on privately owned roads with NO traffic or chance of a ticket and I get 9 mpg.
Something is wrong.

the only way this could happen on the street is if you are purposely driving in an unnecessarily low gear.
record your odometer reading at your next fill up, burn that tank then fill up again and do the math.

New software to improve fuel economy display.
