Damn the rotten luck...
Some of you already know I had knee surgery a few weeks back. Doing ok there. But just when you think it's safe to hobble around...
Day before yesterday I was attacked by a 130lb pitbull. It tore my right hand wide open. I'm right handed. Had to go get several stitches. Now I'm not allowed to do anything for 10 days due to extreme risk of infection since it's my hand and the flesh was ripped rather than cut.
Of course me being me I had to take pictures before they stitched it up. I have pre stitches, an the the dressing change this morning. The dressing change looks worse than the original wound in my opinion.
Anyway now I'm stuck again and going stir crazy.
Dammit.

I've been attacked twice so far where I was actually injured and a third time where I was ok. I gotta say it hurts like helll if they get a decent grip and start shaking their head like their trying to rip a big piece off. Bastards. Is there a big voids the emergency room wouldn't stich up ? He really got you if so
I still like dogs though.

Yeah it amazes me why people have these dogs. Where I live the breed is banned, but some small dicked individuals get around it by stating that their dog is a Bull Terrier cross or some other mixed breed and there's no way of proving conclusively what actual breed a dog is. All breeds of dog are fine if they are trained and treated properly, but the problem is the damage that these dogs are capable of doing when they attack and a lot of times it's actually their owners that are on the receiving end of it.

My truck is auto. I'm good on that.
Sidenote: I'm a smartass in situations like that much to the horror of my wife. While the doc was preparing for the stitches I told him it was a good thing I was married or I'd get no satisfaction. He laughed and my wife nearly fainted!
