Thank you for contacting GM Customer Assistance, Damon! My name is Allyson. I see that you have a warranty question about your vehicle. I would be happy to answer any warranty questions you may have.

I noticed that have this 17469 Warranty
Damon :11:37:04 AM
When I log into my Chevrolet what exactly is that Warranty in regards to?
Allyson:11:38:25 AM
Thank you for your inquiry! It sounds like a special coverage, which is an extension of warranty for a specific component and has time and mileage parameters. I would be happy to look into this further. To do so, may I please have your VIN, as well as an estimate as to how many miles are currently on your vehicle?
Damon:11:39:50 AM
Sure VIN XXXXXXXXXXXXX 12,400 miles
Allyson:11:42:11 AM
Thank you! You have a special coverage for the fuel pump, which is effective until 4/29/2027 or 120,357 miles, whichever comes first. On some vehicles, cracks on the top surface of the left fuel tank fuel pump module flange, may cause fuel odor, or a loss of fuel on the ground. A Check Engine lamp may illuminate if the fuel tank is less than half full. If you were experiencing this issue, the next step would be to have a Chevrolet Dealership diagnose the vehicle, so they could diagnose it and determine if this special coverage applies.

Great thank you !

Ditto. On my 2015 Z
Im guessing this is an extension of a specific part... but not sure on what. IE... my 06 Z had an extension for the master cylinder in clutch even though the car was out of base warranty. It's a 10year/120k mile warranty on ... .?

It is on my 2016 Z06 account too but I likewise have no idea what it covers. Would be great if it covered Z06 track overheating issues. Ha ha but I bet not.

Its on my 15 Z51
It's not a purchased warranty or extend service contract. It will be related to a TSB or known issue. It will not show on the VIS you are often shown by dealer employee. Just the code and length / mileage. I managed a Cadillac dealership for 11 years. So I will see if a friend can look up the code. Since it's on the Z51 I dont think it is the overheating issues with Z06. My GUESS is A8 \TC.

Shows up on mine also, 2016 Z06 with A8 transmission.

Maybe they decided to extend the warranty on the somewhat problematic locking fuel filler door. Mine is disabled with a scrivet to prevent any nasty surprises at a fuel stop.
