Default Removing plenum

Just got a '19 GS and was wondering if anyone recently changed their plenum and did they have a hard time doing it. I read old threads but just wondering if the latest cars are any easier, thanks

Vacuum brake line is a pain to remove...

You will have to cut some of the fasteners for the injector wires

Removed it to inspect my intake valves last summer, and now I will have to remove it again because I bought an MSD Atomic Air Force Intake manifold

did you have any difficulty with the plug? And do you know what that plug is for?

Which plug ?

Removed it yesterday night, it took me 45 min, the vacuum brake line fitting was not too bad to remove in fact, it's just a standard push to connect fitting. The tricky part in my opinion is to move the plenum enough to access to this fitting.

Not a lot of carbon build up on my intake valves at 4500 miles, just some at the valves stems.

Doesn't take long at all. I removed a month or two back. You do have to cut some fasteners as others have stated. Shouldn't take more than 30 mins to remove and reinstall.

Remove fuel rail covers, disconnect the wiring going through it, 4 bolts and cut the wiring harness holders on the bottom. Not very hard at all. Hardest part was not scratching the newly painted plenum cover. Took me 30 mins to uninstall and reinstall everything

I was thinking we talked about removing the intake manifold....plenum is also the other name for intake manifold, at least in my previous Japanese car world....

So just the plenum as you call it it’s a piece of cake. The intake manifold is a little bit more work
