Very exciting!! I am so looking forward to running mine against the exotics.... come on with my order GM... however I think the allocations for Galveston and Siberia will be the last two out of the doors at Bowling Green....

Does GM say break in the ZR1 the first 500 miles at certain rpm limits and no "track days" or "racing events" for the first 1500 miles? I don't know when these people got their cars but if that's the case they're doing lots of driving to break in that engine

I see people use the term stock and bone stock. Aren't they the same thing?

That is what they recommend but you do not have to follow it and many people do not.

My understanding is stock means no mods, but drag tires were used and bone stock means everything is original as it rolled off the showroom floor.

Hope that helps, Chris

Yes they are, people will say "bone stock" to really emphasize that it was an off the factory line car with no changes at all. Kind of like using profane language to really emphasize something. But even so many people will still say stock or bone stock and have different tires, not saying that is done here just that people will do that especially when switching from the same type of factory tire but do a different brand, like a Pirelli vs Michelin tire in the same category.

Stock means as it rolled off the showroom. Drag radials makes the car NOT stock!
