'89 Callaway Coupe, Red/Blk , Non-Aerobody
For the first time since new, 1989 Car #24 Callaway Coupe is available on the 'open market' for purchase. Both previous owners were private sales. This is 1 of only 8 Bright Red / Black coupes with Z51-FX3-ZF6 produced in 1989.
1989 #24, is a very highly optioned RPO-B2K car in mint condition with all original paint, body & interior. Has the very desirable ZF-6 speed and the following options: Z51-FX3-FE7-Z5G-J55-Z5G-KC4-CL2-AQ9-AC3-C68-CL2. The DYMAG II wheels [boxed] convey w/ the car.
This car recently underwent a 9-month mechanical 'freshen-up' and remains nearly bone stock [but have the few OEM parts replaced].
Car #24 has considerable prominence from GM & NCM. Substantial original documentation from the selling dealer and a full maintenances pedigree from previous owners. The last is a personal friend, with 23-year ownership. [It took me 3-years to buy it]. This car has never been a daily, always garage stored under a cover during it's 57K miles.
The number-1 reason why you should consider '89 Car #24: This car was included in an very exclusive group of TT Callaway Corvettes that were selected to be displayed at the NCM from Jan-May 2017 to commemerate the 30-th Anniversary of Callaway Corvettes. [several youtube videos while on display at NCM]. It is doubtful that any other Callaway on the market today owns this distinction.
Transportation [enclosed trailer] may be considered, but not included in sale.
May consider partial trade for early production C7, Grand Sport coupe preferred. Thanks, but no Z06.
If you would like to know more specifics about 1989 #24 to consider a purchase, please LMK.
Thanks for looking,

This car appraised for $63K by a certified appraiser and that is what it is insured for [as-is replacement]. I know the market on the C4 Callaways is not that strong. Based on the cars condition & heritage, I would consider an offer in the high $30Ks. It is important to me that the next curator of this car is an enthusiast that intends to keep it whole.
Having said that, I would be willing to consider delivering the car [enclosed trailer] for a nominal charge, depending on where.
This car is seriously for sale [keeping my '67 Cv BB Tri-Power] and can be rotisserie inspected in my toy-box. Thanks for the look,

Ok, if u haven't guessed by now ... i am a newbie at forums.
This car's heritage, condition & documentation speak for itself. If you have a bon-afide interest in owing this car, please PM.
I will be glad to discuss any aspect of this Callaway, including price, privately.
The car can be rotisserie inspected at my toy-box by appointment.
It is important to me that the next curator of this vehicle intends to keep it whole and not bastardize it just because of the drive-line.
Having said that, i will consider delivering the car [my enclosed trailer] for a nominal charge, as part of the purchase.
