Applying paint sealant

Applying paint sealant
I was applying meguiars liquid synthetic wax which is basically a paint sealant. The instructions say to apply to a cool surface in the shade which I did. However, right after I applied and removed it the surface was in direct sunlight for a while. My question is does a synthetic wax (paint sealant) need to cure in the shade as well or is it ok in diect sunlight after being applied and removed? I know it definitely needs to cure before another coat

Fine to cure in sunlight.

If it cures in the sunlight no problem. I also used the same product and noticed my paint was not as shiny as what I had used before. I had been using Meguiar's Professional Hi-Tech Yellow Wax #26, and went back to it.

That’s the main difference between the 2 products. The was had a deeper shine. The paint sealant is more reflective than glossy. I like the paint sealant because it has more durable protection
