Saw this c3 at a car show today. Options included under hood headlights, bumper mounted fishing pole holders, off road tires, and the extremely rare corvette Hemi engine. On a serious note, why would you do this to a corvette?

I would, in a heartbeat... put a Vette body on another chassis...IF I found a decent body with a bad or bent up frame. I`d rather see it turn into something like that than to sit & rot away behind some barn, or sent to the scrap yard.

Hitting the beach for some surf fishing with the vette. Love it.

Hey jim, how you been,

I dont subscribe to the whole its blasphemy if your vette isnt factory stock,

I would drive the heck out of this beast, yeah, change a few things to suit me but i really dig it...

theres not enough clearance for the wheel travel before it hits the fender. I would go with a smaller tire and a bit more suspension. If you have plenty of money and time, I would love to be able to fiddle around and come up with some customs like George Barris did back in the day

That one is nicest of the 4 x 4 C3 conversions I have seen.

The wheels fit under the fender AND match the wheelwell cutout.

The headlight holes I think need to be covered...but that is the only thing change on it.

Doing OK! Long story, short version...had some surgery, 3 months off from work, and now on chemo drugs. But most important... I`m still kicking! Still working on the Vette, but it`s getting closer!

Yes, there have been several, but I agree, I think this is probably the best one I`ve seen. I would`ve put in the recessed fixed lights in the holes, in addition to fog lights below.
