Default Sticky black sheets on door to keep water out?

I'm trying to replace some of the 2" X 2" black sticky things on my inner door. It seems like a rubber/tar substance that remains gooey for ever.

Does anyone know what these are called and where you can buy some?

If they're not sticking anymore, get some butyl tape and put around the edges. I believe those are just a moisture barrier.

"Moisture barrier".... exactly! 3M makes a ribbon caulk, which I think is the right adhesive material, but it only comes in narrow widths.

i thought they were for noise but in any event the black 3m weather strip adhesive would work great for these.
