79 vette for sale 36k miles
$7300
I am selling a 79 corvette which since 2002 and my good friend owned since 1991. The car has low miles as it was not driven much. Since 2002 its been kept in my garage. In the years that I had it I did the following. New paint, rebuilt trans, added a vortec head and cam package, new holley 670 street avenger carb, all front suspension bushings, new shocks, new radiator, new electric fan to replace clutch fan, 3000 stall torque converter, Holley blue electric fuel pump, new mahogany steering wheel, all new hoses and belts, new true dual exhaust with performance mufflers, headers, etc..... I decided to sell as I have no time any longer to work on the car as my young kids take all my time. The car needs new carpets and seats, although I have seat covers on it and you don't notice the bad seats. It also needs a radio and speakers. I took out the old radio as it was faulty. The car will come with a new digital radio that is still in the box along with a brand new chrome radiator (100amp). The alternator in the car is fine, but I wanted a chrome one at the time as the car has chrome valve covers and air cleaner. The car needs rear tires as I took it to the track on drag radials. The car runs a 12.7 in the quarter at 105+. This car is string and reliable. It does have you typical leaks like oil and trans fluid if the car sits long. I think it needs a new tranny gasket. I was planning to add one of the nice pans which cost about 50 bucks have not had the time. There is no rust on this car...Please call with any questions and do not call to low ball me or try to sell me a service of any kind. Serious inquires only......

Interesting. I wonder what a new 700R4 would cost to buy and install.
What rear gear ratio is in it? Working A/C?

Thanks....Its a solid car for sure...The interior needs carpets and seats as mentioned....Needs a radio and speakers , but I have a brand new digital radio still in the box that goes with it....I simply did not have the time to do much on it anymore. My kids take all my weekends at this time....
