Getting a FAT32 formatted SD card
I'm just now getting around to buying a SD card for my C7 and using the PDR. So many manufacturers, makes, pricing not sure which one works the best for videos. Any suggestions?

Most sd cards come pre formatted in fat32. If you make sure it say works with windows, Mac and Linux, you’re good. Now, I don’t know the max size the Corvette can use though.

PDR can use up to 32 Gig card right off the shelf. Be sure it’s a class 10 card. 64 Gig cards need to be reformatted to FAT 32. A 64 Gig card is overkill anyway. You don’t need that much.

It can handle a bigger card as long as its formatted Fat32...I have this Sandisk SDXC 128Gb in my PDR slot.

From what I've deduced:
A 256MB card gives you about 5 minutes of recording, a 64GB card gives you 1540 minutes (25 hrs).
So a 32 GB card would give you about 12 hours and a 128 GB card would give you about 50 hours.

I got 2 San disc 32 fat for $25 on Amazon. They work great. I activate the PDR when I start and delete it when I return or finish reviewing it. The way I’m useing it i’ll never fill up the disc!

You can download a program called HBUSDisk and it will let you format any size card to FAT32. I've used it on two 64G and it works great. You must run the program as Administrator but it is very simple. Free to download.
