Trying to order a ZR1, but ran into Performance Suspension
I noticed as I was reviewing the options for the ZR1 there was an option listed under Interior; below the option to do the Corvette Engine Build that is labeled Performance Suspension. The description for that was rather vague and it said it might require additional parts and it had no cost. Does anyone know what they option does and what additional parts might be needed?!

I believe that is part of what comes with the ZTK package and is not orderable separately.

That option is listed separately and the blurb for it says:
- Magnetic Selective Ride Control stiffens the suspension for high-performance driving without sacrificing a smooth ride
- Adjustable with Driver Mode Selector
- Performance Traction Management includes 5 separate settings of torque reduction and brake intervention facilitating maximum grip on the road for more confident driving
- May require additional optional equipment

When selecting the Performance Suspension in the GM Workbench, it will requiring the ZTK Track Performance Package, thus can not be ordered seperately.

Looks to me that since they list the Performance Suspension apart from the ZTK track package that is might be available separately but I have no idea what they mean when they say additional parts may be required?
It might be the ZTK package but all in all it seems rather vague.

The GM Workbench is the application your dealer uses to place your order. When my dealer walked through placing my order with me, I noticed the same thing. When this Performance Suspension option was selected, a pop up appeared on the screen that forces the ZTK Track Performance Package option to be selected.

Thanks for your reply. I had also written to the car dealer and here is their reply.
The ZR1 comes standard with performance suspension. When they are saying it comes with additional parts the car comes with them.
I don't want the ZTK package so if the performance suspension is a part of that sounds like I won't get it.
When I order a car I always worry that I'll miss something I would like to have.

If you don't order the big Azz wing no performance package. Simple as that.

The $2995 ZTK Track Performance package fitted to the targa models we drove (a convertible ZR1 also is available) goes a step further by adding a much bigger adjustable wing, removable end caps for the front splitter, specific tuning for the standard magnetorheological dampers, and Z06-spec Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 near-slick tires in place of the standard Michelin Pilot Super Sports (285/30ZR-19s in front, 335/25ZR-20s in back).

I am 100% certain the only way you will receive the Performance Suspension is to order the optional ZTK Track Performance Package. The Performance Suspension package IS NOT standard with the ZR1. Any dealer that tells you otherwise, they are obviously not familiar with the ZR1 Order Workbench.

what does the 2019 zr1come with for a rear gear 3::42 or 2;41(8 speed auto) I saw a vedio of a zr1 going 214mph at 5500rpm, I would think that would be the 2:41 gear. if it went 6500rpm (3:42 gear)would it go faster?

The dealer's answer to my question sure didn't sound right. Telling me the car came with the performance suspension since it obviously was shown as an option. I pointed that out to them but so far have gotten no reply. But I just sent them my deposit on the car and I'm sure they have not received it yet. Maybe when they get it I'll get some better replies out of them.

Understand the dealer find another. Before sending deposit did you verify they have an actual allocation?

Any Chevy dealer can order a ZR1 but unless they have allocations they will likely never get it.
