Default Dual stripe on a 2016 coupe Z51... what the heck?

So I just came to terms on a 2016 Corvette coupe Z51 / 3LT. As I was going over the paperwork / build sheet I noticed that the stripes that are on the car aren't listed on the build sheet. I looked at some sales materials for the 2016's and the stripes on my car don't appear to be the same as the factory offered stripes either. Has anybody seen this stripe pattern before or have any idea who offers these? I don't love them or hate them... I'm just curious what the story on them might be. The car has both a clear and body colored roof panel... and it appears that the stripes go over the body colored roof panel too. Any ideas? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I think the dealer probably did them after the fact. Did they charge factory prices? Probably a good way to sell a car they have in stock, I guess? Or maybe a customer asked for them and then walked?

It's a pre-owned car; I can't find any record of stripes being added anywhere.

Who ever or where ever the stripes were done they look AWESOME on your car. The stripe colors are perfect for the color of the car.

Thank you! The stripes are what caught my eye on this one. The only thing I don't like is how the stripes converge on the nose rather than go straight down the front. I don't think it looks bad by any means though.

Look like the "C7 Corvette Stingray, Grand Sport, and Z06 JE Stinger Stripes" on vettestripes.com

Does having an aftermarket stripe like this do anything to help or hurt the value of a car? Not that I would want to... but would I be correct in assuming that it would be fairly easy to remove these and that there wouldn't be any damage to the car should I need to / want to down the road?

I like the looks of them.
Probably 'neutral' in regard to value except to a "Corvette purist".

On a used car stripes is the last thing to worry about. Depreciation is the true enemy of a car’s value.

I usually don't go for stripes, but the colors work on that car, and I like the tapered design at the front - fits the overall lines of the car well... They wouldn't be a deal killer for me...

Strange thing #2 about the car... I just got the build sheet for it and it shows "gloss black wheels"... but the wheels on the car are chrome. They're the correct Z51 chrome wheels... the car just didn't apparently have them when it was built. Does this mess with the value at all? (Side note... I'd rather have the chrome wheels anyway.)

Congratulations on your purchase. Now quit worrying about the little things and get out there and enjoy it. It won't be a collector car where these things matter for 40 years or so.

LOL... well said. I fully know I'm worrying a bit too much... I'm just trying to make sure I'm not missing any big "red flags" before I miss my chance to void the purchase. I'm new to Corvettes and appreciate the help!

I just got the build sheet for it and it shows "gloss black wheels"... but the wheels on the car are chrome. They're the correct Z51 chrome wheels
Gloss Black wheels: $495
Chrome Wheels: $1,995

So, what's the trouble? The C7 parts forum is filled with folks trading/selling wheels for their rides.

Good news is they look good. Better news is vinyl stripes likely come off very easily if you don't like them.

I'm with Maxie on this. I think those look very nice, very tastefully done. I'd do that in a heartbeat.

I like these stripes. I have others, though. Used vettesstripes.com and they even bought a pattern (we split the cost) and they did some customization for me.

I like your stripes better than the factory stock stripes. They remind me of the C6 60th anniversary stripes below after your car.
