Is this a good price for used C7?
Hey guys, somebody I know is selling a '14 C7 1LT A6 base coupe with 25k miles for $34,500. Do you think it's a good price? I personally prefer the M7, but if I am willing to settle with the A6 if it's a good deal. I am also struggling with the color (it's black) since I really wanted a torch red C7. I am having a hard time making a choice since I am just not sure in the next 6 months a combination I'd like would fall into the $33-35k range or not.

Yep, decent price. But don't settle for something you don't 100% want. There are a several other C7s for around the same price and mileage if you're willing to travel, some may have the options you're looking for.

I'm getting too old to get in and out of it gracefully and considering selling it and replacing it with a salt truck

Yes. Great price if it has a clean title non salvage. You should wait for your favorite color car. Prices won’t fall but if your diligent daily you might find a great deal.

I think you'd be hard pressed to find another C7 @ that mileage for that price. As long as you're okay with A6, non-Z51 and just 1LT. I feel like 2LT is the sweet spot for the added creature comforts.

Great price if it’s not a salvage title so research carefully. Many of the cars on national websites at this
price point are salvage vehicles.

Yeah that's a darn good price if you are okay with the options. Most 1LTs are listing in the upper 30s or low 40s. But if you are set on Red I'd keep looking as Black is a very polarizing color. You either hate it (as I do, too hard to keep clean) or love it. It is beautiful if you can keep it clean though.

Both Carfax and Autocheck checked out, if I decide to buy it I'll probably still do a pre-purchase inspection at dealer just to be safe.

I have 2014 torch red LT3, LT3 red leather interior; low serial number (6871) with about 9,000 miles on it - daily driver, I just don't drive much. A couple of paint dings but nothing major. Serviced as per manual with extended maintenance warranty. Custom 10 spoke aluminum wheels.

I think I would prefer 2lt if I could afford it. The only thing I wanted from that package is the HUD and vented seating.

I haven't seen anything in the $30-35k range for '14-15 1lt with low mileage. I know it's a good price and it's about 80% of what I want out of a Corvette. This would be my first Corvette purchase (coming from a Scion FR-S), so I don't have much 'needs' since even the base 1LT is more than adequate in terms of equipment.

I paid $40K for my 2014 a couple of weeks ago from a local Chevy dealer, was an older lady that traded it on a new one. NPP, 1LT, Nav in perfect condition with 11.5K miles, with one of my top 3 colors (yellow, red, and this one is silver). I think you can find "exactly" or really close to what you want if you're patient and flexible on pricing.
I don't care for black - gets too dirty too fast for me, and too hot in the summer. That said, they do look fantastic when they're clean and shiny! Had a black Mustang GT years ago, will never own another black vehicle ever again.
