Default Edelbrock 2650 test fitment!!!

Looks like the edelbrock 2650 for the c7 z06 will be available in about 2-3 months. Minor cowl modding will be needed which looks less than the 2.9 whipple.

Testing is going on currently.
Also a like for like dyno will be coming.
Stock blower at 13lbs vs this 2650 at 13lbs and then will be turned up more.

I cant wait

Screw the hood, cut it. I’ll take mine with the CR Fueler port injection

Look how tall that thing is, I see no way that blower will clear a stock hood. Maybe it will be really close though...

hopefully it's not like every other e-force blower, spin it slightly harder than stock and they just fail to perform

From the looks of the lid , it appears that it was designed to also fitt the pre 2017 hood clearance . I can see the dent .

If the 2900 whipple fits under the stock hood, and you have to trim the cowl panel on both the 2900 whipple and the 2650 eaton, why not just run the whipple?
I like the look of the whipple, as well as the idea of the "whipple whine"!

Because despite its smaller displacement, the 2650 is going to move more air, and produce less heat doing it. Worth waiting for, and worth cutting the hood. But then again, I’ve had some time to get used to a hole in the hood
