This hood is the best constructed best looking hood on the planet.

OK Guys, I got the first one! If you want the 2nd one you better pull the trigger fast.
I got a call from Jim Hall to advise me on shipping. What a fine gentleman! Good news coming from Halltech, but it's Jim's to tell.

One left
These are not seconds; they were made in advance of sales, and we had too many price increases and material shortages, which lead to suspending sales back in 2015.
We do have two more, but they are seconds, and I do not know for what reason. If a thread is out of place, and you are planning on painting the top anyway, it might be worth looking into one of the two.
We have one NOS left ready to ship.

My new Halltech DRED Carbon Fiber Hood arrived yesterday and I wanted to share the unboxing pics.
First a shout out to Jim Hall for an outstanding job of packing the hood. It arrived in perfect condition. The box was strapped in the vertical orientation to a properly sized pallet preventing direct contact with other freight during transit. Inside the box, the hood was protected by 4 to 6 inches of closed-cell foam to absorb any potential impacts. The hood was further protected by a layer of bubble wrap with the edges completely bounded by foam tubing (noodles).
The suspense is building.
It finally emerges!
Wow! This thing is feathery light! Just 13 lbs on my shipping scale.
This hood seems very rigid for being so light. Some aftermarket hoods are extremely flexible and this one seems as stiff or stiffer than the OEM hood.
Thanks again, Jim!
