Default 2009 Z06 - 9,800 miles - ALL INTAKE, MOST EXHAUST VALVES OUT OF SPEC

I posted in The "Out of Spec" Guide Wear Registry thread but I wanted to show a video of me doing the quick wiggle test and the actual numbers that Kohle provided.

TL;DR: If you don't watch the vid, all I can say is I am glad that I had the heads done. The valves were bad.

We have been preaching/begging owners for years to have them checked, it's not an internet thing. Mine were out at 4800 miles. Glad you had them done. Now you can join us in spreading the word.

A lie, I tell you, a lie. The wiggle test is a worthless test - JerriVette.

Good deal Jason, enjoy the new power, and the peace of mind to be able to drive it.

And in a garage in a building we all know in Kentucky........

I have a head that looks like this one, I had to buy one from a forum member though. It was used as a machining test setup for the Crower shaft rockers.

No surprise here, good you checked them, mine were worse with only 3,000 miles on a 2011.

Link to my podcast and youtube chanell is in my sig. Thanks for the mentioning.

I know there are differing opinions on this situation, and my opinion is only as valuable as what someone finds it to be.

At the end of it all, I had a fear that something bad would happen when driving the car based on what I read, true or not. I spent money to stop that fear...AKA..."peace of mind". Money well spent.
