Default New Owner with Wheel Questions

Hello all! I just bought a 1994 Coupe in Polo Green with the 6 speed. I have the stock sawblades on it, but would like to get new wheels for style and to have all of my wheels and tires be the same size. I'm looking for 1996 black Grand Sport wheels, like these reproductions: https://www.zip-corvette.com/88-96-g...et-17x9-5.html
So would these fit, front and back? They are 17 x 9.5" wheels - 50mm offset.
Also, does anybody have black wheels on their polo green corvette? I would love to see some pictures! Thanks!

I just changed out some "dark grey painted" saw blades to chrome. Not exactly black, or even what you are looking for, but.... If anyone could use these, I'd sell them cheap. (Swartz Creek, MI)

" and to have all of my wheels and tires be the same size."

Just curious, but why is this important to you ?

One good reason is all 4 wheels and tires can be properly rotated from side to side, front to back for even tire wear.

To answer your question directly, yes they will fit. Stock 17x9.5 wheels on these cars came with 56mm offset, so these would be just about 1/4" more to the outside - well within the fenders. Put 275/40r17 tires on all four, and you're good to go. It would be essentially the same as the Z51 setup for later-year C4s. FWIW, you can also fit 17x11s with 50mm offset and 315/35/17 tires at all four corners.

Yep, thats the idea. Though most tires I would get would be directional, so only rotatable front to rear.

I actually had these pulled up in another tab! They would most likely be my choice.

I wish I had a pic of a Polo Green car for you with these wheels. OTOH, I know that the painted silver or gunmetal would look great with that color. Also, it occurred to me that a wheel like that with flat gold centers could look great. That might require a custom finish, though.

I've never had ay wear issues ( other than worn out ) that would make me want to rotate the tires on mine, the compounds in the tires are softer ( to some extent ) and not like the regular passenger car tires you may be accustomed to. I like the bigger tires my self...but it's your car and money.
