Red Line or Whitewall
I bought a 1967 Marina Blue convertible, 4 speed L79. It's being delivered next week. I will be posting pictures soon. Would Red Line or Whitewall tires look better? Like them both and can't decide. Help me out. Thanks

What color top and interior
It also how much you want to spend on tires that will dry rot well before they ware out. The white walls pictured above can be had for less then 400 bucks out the door. Red lines you will spend about 800-900 bucks

White walls give the car a nice clean look for about 1/3 the money, plus they are usually easier to balance since they aren't modified from stock to get the red lines by Coker or Diamondback. I've owned both those with no problems, but paid around $1000 for the privilege. There's a much larger selection of tire makers and sizes in the whitewall.
But, the red lines look good on the bolt on starburst type wheels for 67. And the stock rally wheels don't suit the white walls quite as well as other wheels. Here's a couple of pictures to give you a look.

I am a big fan of the look with the red line tires, but I think on Marina blue, I like those pictures above with the white stripe more. But it's your car and your choice so it will look great either way! Just be sure to post pictures when you do get them!

I started with gold lines, went to black walls and my next purchase will be red lines. Should look great on a sweet silver and I think they will look great on any blue corvette as well

If you bought the car to drive it and he budget permits Diamondback red lines but your car your decision.

I'm not a fan of the red lines or blackwall look. I prefer the white walls, at about two inches or so. They really set off the blue color.
