I was in LICS last week and talked to Rich's son about the auction coming up. I got the impression the 63 if sold is the only one he was going to miss so maybe they just keep it now.

Gimmick is in when they bought the last 67 they had all kinds of hoopla along with it for a few years before the novelty wore off then they sold it to Rick H.
I under stand the significance of this car and how rare it is and it will sell it self and it’s a once in a life time chance to own it.

Sales prices include fees :
1963 $355k No Sale
1964 $231k sold
1965 $368.5k sold
1966 $412.5k sold
1967 $418k sold
I mentioned some sale prices in another thread but that was after they left the block and were final bid numbers. These include the premiums.

The Mecum site still, as of ten minutes ago, lists the '63 as a "Bid Goes On", so I doubt a deal has been finalized. As to them all being "sold", yes, but the question is to who? The auction house? The consignment owner? Those possibilities have happened many times before.

OK, so who were these mysterious bidders who signed for the cars?

No, no, that sounds legit, I just found it odd no bidders were ever shown on TV, and having been involved with Mecum tricks before, I get suspicious when things like that happen. I saw a '65 SS Plymouth Hemi race car jacked up to $450K in a NY minute, only to stop there (near reserve obviously) and of course no bidders were ever seen.
