foam inserts for C5 seats

foam inserts for C5 seats
Are there special foam inserts for the C5 or are they all generally the same. Looking for replacements that will not experience the same problem as teh old ones, sag and tear.

Check-out DJ Motorsports (FORUM VENDOR) I got new sear covers & foam from them. The foam seems much more supportive in the seat bottom sides. Good luck.

Safety Car
Southern Car Parts makes a seat repair kit that includes pieces of foam that re-inforces the existing seat foam. I have a couple of kits that I need to install in my seats.

Regardless of whomever's seat foam you buy don't forget to cover the wire springs crossing the seat bottom with canvas or plastic. This will stop the wires from cutting into your new foam and rendering it about as good as your old foam.
I went with the factory foam years ago and it was just fine when I finally replaced the skins recently. Now is the time to fix the rocking seat if applicable.
