Theft deterrent notification
After programming a new remote for my 2017 c7 model corvette I am receiving a message Service Theft Deterrent System.
What does this means and how can I remove/dismiss the message?

Your car should still be under warranty, take it to a dealer and let them have a look (unless you have electrical mods that might void that warranty).
Tell us where you live and someone will probably come up with a dealer recommendation.

I think at some point during the 2017 MY, it required 2 fobs to program the third (unlike earlier MYs where it only required one).
My guess (and it is only that),it's related to this, and somehow tripped the internal goo-goo-magic-stuff.

Burning Brakes
I got that same alert yesterday, reason, I tried the remote start. It did not but when I opened the door DIC said attempted theft and I got an email alert. Operator error on my part....Only had it 3 weeks, still learning...
