Default 2018 C4 Gathering at NCM

Just got home from there. What an awesome event! Every C4 owner really needs to attend. I have never seen so many awesome ZR1s in my life! This year the 4 guys responsible for the LT5 were there. Their racing stories were priceless.
Mark Haibeck was there too. He gave lectures on ECM tuning as well as suspension tuning. The guy is plain brilliant.
I confirmed i cannot drive. Not only did i lose in the gokart race, but i crashed the simulator too.
The people there were awesome and the banquet was great. Corvette people are the best.
I herd there were over 80 cars there this year (most of them ZR1s). The rain really stifled the attendance.
And of course, the NCM was a great host. You owe it to yourelves to make the pilgrimage to the mecca Bowlingreen is a nice place.
You get to get your car on the NCM race track.
I would love to see 200 cars there next year!

Glad you were able to attend, I missed it this year, but it is always a good time. Try coming to Corvettes at Carlisle, that is another great showing of ZR-1's and good laughs with the ZR-1 Net Registry.

I did corvette Carlisle for about 8yrs straight when I lived in NJ. I am planning on attending the Carlisle fall event in Lakeland, FL this November. I tried for the February event but had company show up unannounced. Nothing compares to Carlisle though. 80 acres of corvettes and parts is pretty amazing.

Default A must attend if only for the "touring laps". See my video

You CANNOT have more fun in a C4 than attending this event. Held every year in Mid May. Here is a video of just one of the laps around the National Corvette Museum Race Track ("Grand Full 3.2 Mile Track" - considered one of the more "technical" tracks in the country). You bring your C4 on the track for "touring laps". Ahhhh, if you're thinking 55 MPH touring laps, think again....you will hit over 100 mph on the straights. Let me tell you it's a whole lot faster than it looks on this video. And no roll cage, helmets, etc required. Your car can be completely stock.
It's follow the leader, no passing, NO racing. $50.00 for a couple of hours! You'll generally go around 4 times, pull in then the next groups go and then you're back out again and again!
See my video....
AND the next day you'll have a blast with the go-karts on their special track. $38.00

Man! I wanted to attend. Was planning to. I just did not have the time with buying a new house. I hope the hosts and guests enjoyed the event and didn't think C4 interests were declining....it is NOT! Thanks for the pics! Hi to 89x2 (hope you are well, long time no see).

BTW you don't let go. Unless you hit the wall and spin, then just let the steering wheel loose and cross your arms!

I've been to a couple of C4 Gatherings. Great fellowship, great cars, great people! If you've never been, you need to put it on your agenda.
