did you notice the product guy had no clue that the WINGS are NOT interchangeable (saying you could "upgrade" the low Wing). difference having an engineer explain the car and a product promoter lol.

did you also notice he mentioned that the hood, front fenders, roof top, rear hatch and rear quarter panels are carbon fiber! Is this correct?

No. This has been a running issue since the car launched; some bad info has gotten out and spread like wildfire. The hood and top panel are CF.
The vent in the front fenders is CF. The vent in the rear quarter is CF. The wing, of course, is CF. The rest of the parts are made from SMC.

Thanks! So the front fenders are SMC? I recall reading that CF front fenders were used for C6 ZR1’s. I could also been mis informed with that.

The C6 Z06 and ZR1 had CF fenders. The C7 versions do not; they're SMC.

Ugh, I should be the product guy... quickly picked out a few other things he got wrong...

- He said it can get 25mpg on the highway... no way

- What is a Z2K performance package?

- He told Jay you can drive it in every market, when it has been very clear since day one the ZR1 doesn't pass euro pedestrian safety standards

Makes sense to me. The C7 Z at over 180mph started skipping over the road imperfections in Track mode. I preferred Sport for high speed runs as well.
