Default 72 Gauge Issue

Hi Group, recently both my temp and fuel gauge stopped working. Checked fuses first and all good. I’m getting ready for a trip and would like to have both functional but at minimum at least temp gauge.
Any ideas where and what to check?
Thanks

Could it be a ground issue? Did any work in your center console or gauges lately? I had a C3 that had a ground wire run from the gauge console to a bolt location under the center console.

I don't know if it would be a ground issue because the fuel gauge is grounded through the fuel sender at the tank. It sounds like it might be either an issue with wiring or the ignition switch.

Jukedog, have you checked if you have 12v at the fuse panel (I think the fuse is labeled "gauges")?
