C3 ****, love it! Your chassis makes me drool with envy! How many cubics is that block? Does it have one of those roller rockers in it with a Duntov high lift slow duration cam?

Its 175 cubic inches of solid lift excitement! Rockers have been made out of maple in the past, along with chairs and tables.
It is high lift when I place it on the top shelf. BTW, it is very quiet and great on gas mileage! Easiest motor I have ever installed.

Original blocks were finished and sealed with boiled linseed oil. Yours is obviously bare. NCRS FAIL.
