Interesting read and take a look at the rockers setup with position of roller way off centre - is this normal for these Reid rollers? I would have thought guide wear would be a huge issue where they are sitting (second foto)
Something looks odd there.

Cool article. Looks like the rockers are setup for the roller to be towards the outer edge of the stem when the valve is seated so that the roller is perhaps centered when the valve is fully opened...or perhaps even sweeps to the other side of the stem if we're talking crazy cam lift. I’d be curious to see the wipe pattern, but ultimately this car is not looking for 100k miles out of valve guides. Lol

I was impressed at the selection of (massive) Ti valves given a 50 lbs of boost scenario.

We normally get about 30 runs before a refresh, so realistically we get less than 5 miles, or ~ 30 minutes of run time out of it.... LOLOLOL

I don't even want to know what that translates to on a dollars per minute perspective.

Just proves the old adage, no matter where you are, there is always someone with a quicker car!

Proline is building some killer engines. Ryan Morgan has one in his Fireball Camaro too.
