Default Looking to buy 2007 C6 with 118,000 miles

I found a C6 that appears to be in excellent condition has many options but the 118,000 miles sounds like too much. Asking $15.9 obo is that too many miles for the price?

10,000 miles per year. Seems like only vette buyers think that is too many miles. Try to find a 2007 Chevy Silverado with 118K miles.

If in good condition with good service history, sounds like a good price.

I bought a 2007 new and have put 80,000 miles on it. I have spent a total of $968 on DIY repairs. Reliable cars IMO.

I'll second that. It's almost like it is sacrilegious to drive these cars the way several folks yap about the mileage being 'too high'. If it has been maintained well, that mileage is nothing. My wife and I bought our first 'Vette just over a month ago, a 2011 with 79K miles. The car has been well maintained and is a blast to drive.

I have a 2005 Dodge Magnum with 209,000 on it. I've owned it since new and I know that it will go another 200K. I wouldn't let the mileage be a hang up if you like the car and it is mechanically sound.

Having said that, don't be in a hurry. There are lots of 'Vettes out there for sale. Let us know what you decide! Oh, and I like the yellow!!!

I think the price is fair. Lower mileage C6's are priced in the mid 20's.

I agree with the above posts regarding miles and condition of the car. As a point of reference we traded our 2005 2/LT Coupe 15 months ago with 28K miles. We got $19,095 on the trade and the dealer sold it 5 days later. They listed it at $24,995. Good luck.

Check for leaks. Check for harmonic balancer. Check transmission shift.

Good price. I bought mine with 90,000 miles on it and paid only a bit more. Mechanically in good shape, but body had scratches and interior was well worn.

It depends. If the car's been serviced regularly at the same place, chat that place up asking about the car's maintenance and issues.

The car is 11 years old and likely a DD. The per year miles is right where you want them.

Don't let the miles scare you away. How it was maintained is more important. Have it checked out by a trusted, knowledgeable mechanic and verify service if possible.
Looks like it was cared for, but you never know. He just might have had it detailed for the sale.

I have a 07 I bought new with 201,500 miles on it.
No unexpected repairs, just the typical like shifter cable, Alt, shocks, wheel bearings and brake pads.
Still looks and runs great.

It looks to be in great shape, and well taken care of! I wouldn't be afraid of the mileage for it's age! The LS engines are good for double that! Plus it's a great color! I'm sure you can do better on the price! Sometimes you have to pay a little more for a clean, well maintained car!

Go for it!

Bought mine with the same mileage a year ago. If well maintained it should not be a problem. If I wantd a garage queen I'd have gone to barrett jackson and not a dealer.....
