That is the Highest HP Peak and carry that I have seen with a Fast Intake.

Thank you for the props. The cam is a Cartek 4X approximate specs are 240+ intake, 250+ exh about .650+ lift. It is custom ground to our head porting. The compression is about 11.2/1.

Send me an email to jhormilla@cartek.net with your current mods if any and I will send you a quote.

It's 240+ and 250+ Ish, not the exact numbers.

Yep that is some serious HP for a stock throttle body and a unported Fast intake. I am not saying it is not possible but with the mods listed I would think that 600 RWHP would be a big number. But hey I am not a tuner or a pro builder but I believe that's got to be the best numbers I have seen with the mods listed. All I can say is that is one strong engine.

LOL, this is not the first time our numbers are questioned. Just do a search in this forum on Cartek heads and cam. It's been over 10 years that our C5 heads and cams were running low 10s @ 130s.

I have seen plenty of cars on his dyno make well over 600 with head cam package... my old c5z made 468 head cam and went 10.60s at 130. All of Cartek cars have been proven not to be just a dyno hype they all been track proven to match the dyno numbers. This man is a genius when it comes to LS/LT engines

I will admit that this is the highest numbers we have seen on pump with a hydraulic roller, we typically see 630s.

Cartek did my c5z head cam. I wanted more power and we ended up building a ls3 416ci with a procharger. car got wrecked and we ended up putting that motor in my 71 nova and twin turbo it. The car now goes bottom 8s with the same street 4 bolt motor and has been living for over 5-6 years now with well over 1000 hp to the wheels. I used to live in New York near Cartek and now live down in North Carolina I still to this day no matter what use Cartek for engine building and tuning well worth the travel. He also has done numerous of my buddy’s cars. One has a head cam ls1 Camaro making 470whp hasn’t had one hipcup with the car for over 10 years! I have been to some track rentals and seen with my own eyes head cam ls1 Camaro going 10.23.. ls2 corvettes going bottom 10s..
