Default RPM performance

Has any one used RPM motorsports out of North Carolina for head & cam rework? I have read good reports about them. Any feed back would be appreciated . Thanks

Not directly, but my z06 was dyno'd by them by previous owner ( he traded z06 for c7 at dealer) dealer gave me paper work. Well go to check the valves, and the only way I could tell the heads where done was because the head bolts are now ARP, not one clip, hose, anything was out of place. Called them gave vin number and yes he said heads where removed and sent to AI. So I say the work quality top notch.

I used them for some work on my very first Corvette. Nothing major, and I had no issues. That being said, I'm looking for someone I can trust to tune my Z06, and I've considered them for that. If you go with them please report back.

Good for tunes and dyno. Wouldn't let them rebuild my lawnmower though. I personally have seen 3 motors blow from them.

Obviously I don’t know the circumstances, but a bad tune can blow a good motor.

I've had three cars tuned there and a few friends have had built cars there. No issues with any of them. They are well respected in the area. I'd definitely go back for anything Corvette related.

Based on my experience there I would take the Z, but knowing about another tuner in the Fayetteville area I might hold out. I'm not sure if that guy has much experience with LS7's over his ponchos/ctsv's.

I have used a handful of tuners in NC, PCM, RPM, Tick and I personally think that the best tuner that I have used is Stephen Shoaf with SS LSX Tuning and Performance in Concord, NC.

He is a great tuner but he can do anything.

I watch all of their youtube channel videos and I think they have a really high standard for the work they put out.

I think you are referring to a different shop than we are. The NC shop, the shop the OP is referring to is in Garner , NC.

He definitely built a potent LS7 for my friend. Heads, cam, Kooks, intake , and tune put down 577 RWHP. He also put together my mild build with heads from AHP, Kooks, and tune for 503 RWHP. I know of several others including ZR1s.
To be clear I was talking about Ryan @ RPM above, looks like you may have been referring to the Fayetteville tuner.

I am referring to RPM in Garner N.C.. I am taking my 07 Z there in mid June for AHP heads and mild cam & tune. I just dont see anybody post about them and I was wondering why. From what I've read seems like a stand-up shop.

Yep, I was referring to Rick Crawford. I'm unsure about his ls7 experience. I figured Ryan was probably a good bet out in Garner.

I took my 07 Z06 to them to install AHP heads and the AHP 116 cam, headers, X pipe, wrap all lines for heat protection, trunion upgrade etc... and tune. They met my expectations, I can't compare against others, but there are a lot of C6 Corvettes there, all they touch is LS products. I've had no issues since install. They called me when they made discoveries and got my input etc.. and also vendors in regards to install issues/questions. I'd recommend. It cost, but I needed to know they weren't a shop working 90% on mini vans and hondas and was my closest option.

I know their tuner recently left to start his own tuning business. Not sure who does their tuning now.
