i cane across a thread where long story short Brian Tooley’s springs were being the undustry’s Nest choice for valve train remains-build.However that was 2014. Anyone that’s been following my threads knows I didn’t have $1,600 in my budget for the best headers in the game. But going cheap in the valve train I refuse to do.

springs should be selected according to the cam you are using, for a mild cam you don't need a ton of spring pressure to control the valves and all that will do is prematurely wear the valvetrain parts... talk to the cam manufacturer and get their recommendation and you might also contact someone like brian tooley, pac, etc, and get their opinion as well... on pushrods if you want something really nice manton makes some 11/32 .120 wall pushrods that are sweet... I would also recommend rebuilding the trunnions as well, straub makes a nice bronze bushing kit (stay away from comp)... if you do the work yourself you can get some good quality parts and be under $1k

Summit has a very nice rocker bushing kit reasonably priced , I used them with a Texas Speed 224R cam(.600 lift) , PAC Beehive springs , Comp. Cams pushrods , 8,000 miles still nice and quiet. Oh , yeah , this is with 120,000 mile stock lifters too , I am going to replace them when I put PRC heads on real soon.
